CITIBANK

Citibank was founded in 1812 as the City Bank of New York. In 1894 in the largest bank in the United States. In 1902 he began an expansion throughout the world and became the first bank in the us that has the State Department. In 1930 he became the world's largest banks with over 100 branches in 23 countries. He changed his name to The First National City Bank of New York in 1955, and later became the First National City Bank in 1962 and became a Citibank in 1976.

Citibank was the first u.s. bank to introduce ATMs in the 1970s, in order the reduction of the "teller" humans and provide 24-hour account access.
Citibank now is the consumer and corporate bank from financial services giant Citigroup, its largest company in the world. Citibank operates in more than 50 countries in the world. More than half of its 1,400 offices are in the US, mostly in New York City, New York, Chicago, Illinois, Miami, Florida, and Washington, d.c., and also in California.
The Bank also offers insurance and investment products. They offer online services and is one of the most successful, with about 15 million users.

Citibank, N.A. Indonesia Branch, ("Citibank") is a branch of Citibank, N.A., headquartered in New York, u.s.a. Citigroup Inc. ("Citigroup") fully owns Citibank, N.A.
We first present in Indonesia in 1918 through the company before that, The International Banking Corporation in Batavia and Surabaya. Although the branch was closed in the 1920s, Citibank back in Jakarta in 1968 and offers a range of banking services.
Global Consumer Group is one of the main business in Citibank Indonesia which manages financial services consumer market. Consists of 4 business groups, namely banking services (Retail Banking), credit cards, credit Without Collateral – Personal Loan and Citifinancial.
